"Pros: Die Villa Maria liegt wunderbar direkt an einem großen Sandstrand. Eigentlich sogar an mehreren, die sich direkt aneinanderreihen. "Pros: Die Wohnung ist im Obergeschosses einer 3-Parteien-Einheit. Sie liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe eines Campingplatzes. Dort besteht die Möglichkeit auch Brot und Brötchen zu bestellen. 3 mal die Woche ist ein Obst und Gemüsehändler in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Kiesstrand sind es etwa 100m, klein und fein. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und herzlich. Vielen Dank dass wir Ihre Gäste sein durften."

"We were absolutely elated by this place! Cala Gonone exceeded our expectations in terms of a beautiful coastal area that isn't mobbed like some other portions of Italy. Hotel Miramare is beautiful and right next to the beach. Parking was a little unclear and we got a ticket, so be aware of parking rules and finding a spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful with many suggestions. Our room was fantastic - complete with TWO balconies. The south balcony was a bit warm for our tastes but the east balcony (facing the beach) was shady and comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We asked for extra pillows, which they promptly brought to us. We enjoyed the outdoor grill for dinner one night and really enjoyed the preparations. The breakfast buffet in the morning had all of the fruits, meats, perfectly-prepared eggs and pastries we could hope for, and the staff graciously let us get an early start on breakfast the morning we rented a boat. The atmosphere throughout was light, clean and uplifting, enhanced by the ultra-friendly staff. It's not even a question that we will return here on our next trip to Sardinia."

The pool was really nice and not too busy. Would recommend staying here. Only downside is that it is up on a hill (like everywhere else) and its about a 15 to 20 minute walk down to the city center."
