The unit was clean and spacious with laundry facilities and roomy wardrobes. The second bedroom does not have airconditioning which seems unusual in the tropics. There is only one bedside table in rhis room and the one reading lamp was on the top shelf of the wardrobe. The airconditioning unit in the main bedroom is noisy. We didn't need to use the kitchen so can't comment about it. It was very peaceful and I had a very private unit upstairs looking into the most beautiful palm trees and down onto the lovely swimming pool, which I swam in lots. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen and bathroom well-supplied with everything one could need. Only two small negatives: the tile floors were covered with a soapy, slippery residue which made it dangerous to walk on barefoot! (too much cleaning product?), and one of the venetian blinds was not working properly. It was lovely to be able to stroll along the pleasant treed streets to the beach, shops and cafes. Holloways Beach is not too touristy and pretty empty.... sad that I could not swim in the sea as it was a bit too rough. The manager of the unit was very approachable and pleasant. Apartment was good value and was a good size. I'd does however need some tlc. The washing machine and dryer were very handy. No free wifi but lets be honest, most places have average wifi anyway. On the negative side, the frying pans were both past it and there was the usual collection of mismatched plates and other dishes. We like to cook for ourselves a lot of the time so next we'll be bringing basic cooking equipment with us next rod trip. It's a shame but a lot of apartment owners just don't get it. Don't be so mean. Not a bad place to stay and the manager Jan is well organised and friendly too. Good pool. Great swimming pool, and deep enough for adults. There were a few maintenance items that needed work - the air conditioner in our room was so loud it was unusable, and there were also a noticeable number of small ants in the front living area.
