We had a short stop in Cairns to do some shopping before finishing our Queensland tour by flying back to Brisbane. The place was not too easy to find but although fairly old it was clean, spacious, well equipped and reasonably comfortable. A Saturday night party down the street made that night noisy but not the fault of the apartments management. Graham, the manager, was very helpful. From the beginning our stay bad, door lock need to be fixed, furniture below standard and decor below standard. This place is one upgrade from homeless shelter. You get what you pay for, don’t be fooled, or misled. Fridge didn't work on arrival and the air conditioner was noisy and inadequate for the apartment. The windows were all open and the aircon not on when he checked in so the apartment was stifling.
