This beautifully appointed 2 bedroom executive apartment is the ultimate in luxury, style and sophistication. Situated in the prestigious Harbour Lights complex on Cairns waterfront, overlooking Cairns marina and out to the coral sea. Enjoy watching the coming and goings of the reef boats and luxury yachts all from your private balcony. The apartment is privately owned and situated within the Harbour Lights complex, With full executive kitchen large living and dining area, master bedroom opening onto balcony, with queen size bed, privacy shutters between bath and bedroom offering marina views from your bathtub. A second bedroom offers 2 single singles or 1 king size bed. Also within the apartment is a laundry with washing machine & dryer. The apartment is full airconditioned. This little apartment is in a great location, has terrific views and was very comfortable. The parking is great. But, the property furniture and furnishings are dated and worn. The shower was moldy, the dining table had crumbs on it, and the air conditioning will only stay on for 3 hours and then shuts off automatically. The airconditioning has a fixed temperature and turns off automatically after 4 hours of use. Not sure what the fixed temperature was running at but even with the AC going the apartment was hot. I noticed the AC filter was extremely dirty and this could be the cause of the AC not cooling the apartment down. Communication with the owner was very poor and not helpful when I expressed my concerns about the AC. For an apartment with a fixed cooling system I expected they would have ceiling fans but only one room did. Once the aircon would shut down after 4 hours we had nothing to keep as cool through the night. Cairns is known for its heat so we expected a better system. There were a few other little problems with the apartment, the shower door doesn't close properly so the water goes all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom tap leaks. There weren't enough towes and the fridge light doesn't work. For the price of the apartment you'd expect less problems/no problems. We did not enjoy our stay and we're very unsatisfied. ##### Sammy R. Short walk to the esplanade, night markets, casino and restaurants. Overlooking the marina was a great view. Was little disappointed that had no basics like oil, sauce, salt, pepper or even coffee, or a frying pan, we had to buy everything for our short stay.
