"Lovely room! "

"We had the loveliest overnight stay in a really large comfortable ground floor room. We had a beautiful meal in the bar in the evening & an equally delicious breakfast in the morning. It was so quiet & peacefully the whole time we were there. We never heard another guest. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. We would definitely stay again the next time we are passing. "

"We booked room 319, superior, and their was a constant loud humming noise. We were relocated to room 304, which was not as roomy at a superior room should be as it was a triple room. Hindsight, we should have insisted on a similar room to 319, but rather than be difficult we accepted the room. "

"The host was wonderful and made my son and I feel right at home. She also cooks one heck of a breakfast...delicious! Thanks for a wonderful stay and all the friendliness! "

"When we were planning our trip to Ireland, we knew we wanted to experience a bit of everything; which of course included a thatched roof cottage on a farm, and The New Thatched Cottage was absolutely perfect. We felt like we were transported back in time while still having everything modern that we needed right there. The grounds were beautiful. The horses were so sweet, and the cabin was perfectly cozy and comfortable. Our only hiccup was the slippery wood just outside the shed. I took a little tumble and banged up my knee, but I’m alright. Overall, I would love to stay here again and again… and just avoid that wood step 😅 Thank you so much for making our Irish cottage dreams come true!"

"We used the house as a home base for day trips in the region-worked out perfectly. Cozy house at the end of a very quiet, dead-end street. Host is responsive to inquiries and assistance with the house."

"The historic home was very comfortable with enough modern upgrades to keep everything going smoothly. The hosts had a wonderfully stocked kitchen and home. They were also just so helpful and kind.. we had no issues with anything while we were there. Some of our favorite moments during our 5 days there were sitting in the eating area with a cozy fire going and playing a game... laughing and snacking on amazing desserts available in the area. We would stay again anytime. The only slight negative I gave was for "neighborhood" because the roads getting there were too tiny twisty for these Americans used to. On the other hand, the views were spectacular, both on the roads there and from the house itself. We really enjoyed the bright daffodils along all the roads. Also, the birds outside all the windows were delightful."

"We stayed here from Friday until Tuesday wish we could have stayed longer What a beautiful house it’s just stunning and very very comfortable and it’s absolutely spotless We were a family with 3 adults and 3 kids we were met by Nicholas who is such a friendly young man and so nice and he made us feel right at home we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back We honestly couldn’t fault the house the hosts or the area we loved it"
