"Dont be fooled by star rating of this property. There are 4 cottages on property, maybe the biggest one has fancy remodeling. But we stayed in cottage #3 and it is not comparable to 4-star Hilton. "

"Property is good for 1 or 2 days break. The staff is excellent, but internet was poor and needs to be have something done. We could jot get any signals and the internet was poor, we could joy plan anything while in the hotel."

"What a gem! from a warm welcome at check in to checkout Tityra lodge was a oasis in the mountains. We stayed as a family of four and and two bedrooms. The lodge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and although small there was plenty of choice. They even remembered my wife’s allergy which was mentioned at check in and highlighted unsuitable foods. We used the hot tub which was a lovely treat. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the boundary trail. It is a car drive from monteverde so would recommend if you have a car."

Offered services to set up tours, gave us recommendations for food and answered phone calls promptly. Guillermo was our host and key to our amazing stay at Macadamia. We didn’t have a vehicle, but calling for a taxi was easy and quick. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay in quiet surroundings yet close to all the local activities. "
