A super holiday in a fantastic area. Lots of places to visit nearby, loads of local history to enjoy and stunning scenery to take in. The cottage was delightful, very well kept and a home from home. The owners Mr and Mrs Edwards are very friendly and super helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and even though we packed our days out we still managed to come home feeling refreshed and relaxed.

We had a truly lovely holiday here at Ty Macsen for a week.
The accommodation was cosy, welcoming, and ticked all the boxes!
The owner (s) were very helpful with local information and it was just great 👍.
I was delighted that the enclosed courtyard was safe for our Jack Russell too, so no escape for him.
The location was incredible, albeit a six hour journey for us, with stunning views/scenery, and fantastic beaches.
Would highly recommend. Definitely a 10/10.

My wife and I and our cocker spaniel enjoyed a lovely week break here.
My wife and I and our cocker spaniel enjoyed a lovely week break here. We don't often say this but agreed that it is a place we would go back to. The cottage had everything we needed and was in very good order. There were walks right on the doorstep and an enclosed yard for Lily and the location is spot on for day trips to many beaches, coastal resorts and Snowdonia national park.
The owners are on site, helpful and friendly but not intrusive and have clearly listened to feedback as the recently requested chairs and table for the yard and a mattress topper are now in place.
It is a rural location but Caernarfon is only a 10 minute drive away with 2 supermarkets and plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants and independent shops.

A perfect location for exploring the area. All the home comforts provided, the welcome pack was very thoughtful. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped, quiet location. The log fire was a bonus! Great for access to lots of walking routes, a beach closeby and a very helpful owner. Can't fault it for the holiday we had planned.

We had a wonderful experience here and as it was our first experience of Wales too it was perfect place. Great location, surrounded by beautiful scenery. You are just out of the main stream but close enough that you can just nip to the shop if you need to. Ideally placed to go site seeing to lots of near by towns and beaches. We loved Abersoch beach and Newborough beach.
The cottages itself is done to a really high spec and is well equipped, our only niggle was the mattress could do with either replacing or a good mattress topper on it and the court yard would of really benefitted from a table and some comfortable chairs as we had great weather but weren’t able to eat outside or really enjoy the evening sun after our days out. But overall would highly recommend and we would come back for sure.
