"A wonderful warm welcome when we arrived late. The manager met us at the door with our key and explained everything we needed. Super friendly staff. The hotel is very dated and fixtures and fittings are worn but was spotlessly clean and the room was spacious and had everything we needed."

"Location and property were perfect for exploring D-Day beaches and Caen. Staff was extremely helpful and rooms were clean …and what a beautiful view from our balcony. We requested close or connecting rooms and we received connecting rooms - this is such a struggle at many other hotels now. It was such an easy and memorable stay."

"The Sure hotel was quaint and clean. The staff were nice and helpful and the food in the restaurant was good. The room was a bit small for taller people and the bathroom was tiny. The location was great to walk to the Memorial de can but far away from other restaurants and shopping. Otherwise, we had a nice stay."

"Accommodation was perfect for our one night stay over on our way back to Cherbourg. A bit dated in places, walls need a fresh layer of paint and kitchen needs to be refreshed. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space. We checked in after 8pm so we used the after hours check in process and it was clear and easy to follow."

"Downside was that it was a bit hard to find, and there were no instructions prior to arriving to access the gate/ car park. The room was good value for money, basic breakfast but good for what we wanted. Best part was the receptionist who was amazing at recommending where to eat that was more authentic and where to explore the Chateaux- we wouldn’t have found it without her fantastic directions and even circling on the map for us!"

"Good location for visiting WWII sites. Outside of city center, close to main roads. No elevator, so this means lifting your luggage by your self up the stairs if your room is on the first or second floor."
