Lovely hotel right across from the beach. It was still warm enough mid-October to be on the beach and go for a swim. Definitely worth paying extra for the sea view, loved having a balcony to sit on and watch the water. Floor in room needed a sweep in the corners when we arrived, but they rectified this immediately and standards were high the rest of the week. About half the bars and restaurants in the area were open. Train was a 10 min walk and easy to use for getting around the area.

Great beach hotel

Posted 18-Oct-2017 on Hotels
This is a fabulous place for relaxing by the pool or crossing to the beautiful beach just steps from the hotel. Wi-fi was very strong even out in the gardens and pool area. Each room has a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sunset, or sunrise, but it is annoying when people smoke on neighboring balconies. It happened frequently to us and our room filled with smoke. It is a concern for those with allergies to cigarette smoke, as I am. That point aside, the hotel is wonderful.

Location great

Stayed for 1 night but any longer would have been a chore. Breakfast and lunch buffets good although lacking in variety. If using the lifts be prepared for long waits.Entertainment not great. Location great for beach and restaurants.

Lovely excellent location

Lovely hotel, we were the only British people staying there, very few speak English but were still very friendly. Lovely lady working at the pool bar. Breakfasts are lovely so much choice.

Good value hotel in excellent beach side position

Hotel was excellent. Room was a good size with a large bed, balcony and sea view. Well equipped bathroom, clean and roomy. Pleasant pool area with lots of beds, shade and a pretty cheap bar. Breakfast was included in my booking and was a plentiful buffet. Well worth the cost.

Very nice hotel close to beach

This is a very nice hotel close to beach although not close to the city centre. Only a 10 minute walk to train station. The hotel has excellent facilities.

Stay Elsewhere

Posted 01-May-2017 on Hotels
This was the biggest disappointment of our honeymoon. We paid extra for an oceanfront balcony, but we could not see any water from our room. We requested a double bed (it was our honeymoon), but were given 2 singles. We were suppose to have dinner included, but the kitchen was closed when we arrived (no hours were ever provided to us). The breakfast options were extensive, but low quality. Also, you must be able to speak Spanish (my husband can). Overall, a huge disappointment and we will never return!

Excellent Beach Hotel

Posted 15-Apr-2017 on Hotels
A very nice hotel. We were there for only one night so we weren't able to take advantage of the spa they have. The facility is in great condition and in a excellent location, a 60-second walk to the beach and restaurants. For some reason we were given a room with 4 twin beds but we didn't care. Good wifi. Pleasant staff, although English was halting. I get the unfounded impression that most visitors to Cadiz are Spaniards, figuring the Brits tend to go more to the east. So the hotel folks and the restaurant people didn't speak much English, and I got by ok with my rusty Spanish. If you don't speak Spanish, I wouldn't let that stop you. I would say read up on Cadiz so you know what's there. We didn't because we were committed to seeing it for one night only. If we were to go again for a longer stay I will do more research of the area, just because.

Spain: I am working; she is on vacation.

We used the breakfast buffet which was extensive and tasty. With the area restaurants we only ate the dinner buffet once. There was a lot of variety and quality was very good. The only negative comment comes from their website described coffee shop with food available most of the day. It was not existent which was difficult when adapting to Spanish lunch and dinner times. A little disappointing for resort style hotel.
