We found the hotel very nice but in needing quite a number of repairs. We had a cracked sink broken blinds in the bathroom. Bathroom not very clean. curtain rail in bedroom hanging off the wall. Dinning area very characterful but exsesive mould and damp on the walls and ceiling and very cold. Breakfast was poor and some of the pre packed products where out of date. We had to keep asking for the heating to be put on in the room. The staff where lovely and only to willing to help. We loved the character if the hotel it just needs some TLC.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Fabulously decorated with art. Huge gardens. Friendly & helpful staff. And a little bit out of town surrounded by beautiful countryside. I walked into town 15 minutes every day. And another easy walk to the museum & cave of Alta Mira. I absolutely loved this hotel.

I didn’t take anything from the bar this visit due to time restraints, but in other occasions the bar and bar service was excellent. The room had an amazing view of Puertochico and Peña Carbaga across the bay. This is my third visit here and I most definitely will visit here again.

This is an excellent property in the Picos de Europa park. The best reason to book this hotel are the hot springs. Stayed here 2 nights as we explored the Picos. Easy walk to the funicular to Bulnes. Room was ok, our only issue was that the shower head holder was broken and not tub stopper - first world problems though really. Everything was clean, food was filling and the beer was cold.
