Our stay was wonderful. The suite was very nice. We felt like it was very private. The outdoor space is cozy with the fire pit, BBQ area, hot tub and patio. We lived that it overlooked the river.

Perfect Stay on the Caddo

Highly recommend staying here. We enjoyed relaxing by and in the river which is right down from the cabin. We plan to return in the future!

Nursing school reunion trip!

Me and my friends from nursing school wanted a little getaway on the river and this place was exactly what we needed and wanted. Marc and his wife were so friendly and welcoming the rover was nice and walkable. It was a great stay overall.

Dreamy Riverside Escape

My fiancé and I enjoyed our time here. We would stay again for sure. Right on the pretty river, clean and cozy cabin, beautiful property. Close to crystal mines and canoe rental places. Perfect!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this cozy spot. Different owner, sane ambiance. Marc and and his wife were super friendly, and accommodating. Will definately come back!

The pictures dont do this place justice! Extremely clean and spacious inside. The porch and grounds are beautiful. Walk right down to the river. Would def stay again!

Wonderful experience! Very clean, beautiful comfortable place to stay. Couldn’t recommend more. The hosts are helpful and kind—excellent. We had such a great time!! Local attractions close by or just spend your time at the property. We had the privilege of seeing a Bald Eagle fly by, while relaxing on the porch, drinking morning coffee just watching the river go by. The property is just as described. Fantastic trip, couldn’t ask for any better!

Cabin C&D

This was everything expected and more. Directions were perfect and check in was smooth. First thing we noticed was how clean it was. Walked outside and saw just how peaceful it was. Spent the whole time relaxing in the river and the back patio. Everything you need is there. And if by chance you need anything, Marc and Tracy will definitely accommodate. If you are looking for somewhere somewhat remote (Glenwood is 6 miles away), this is the perfect place. My son caught lots of fish and not once said he was bored-he’s 13. We highly recommend this stay and will definitely be back.

Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Mark was a terrific host and we very much enjoyed our stay. Perfect spot if you want to just relax in the river and enjoy the scenery. We will definitely be back.

Marc and Tracy were exceptionally friendly hosts & extremely accommodating. We stayed in the suite connected to their house & it always felt private. The hot tub & deck was amazing. The river is super beautiful & easily accessible. The kitchen was well stocked with really nice cookware & utensils, they had everything we needed to prepare meals. Grill on the deck works great too! Our entire experience was wonderful & I we will definitely be going back!

Perfect!!!

This cabin is perfect for a small family! The view is absolutely gorgeous and it’s right on the river! Marc was a great host and so helpful, yes you’re attached to the main house but they definitely give you your privacy. The cabin was spotless and so cozy with great views from the bedrooms of the river as well! We have three boys twin 14yr old and a 6yr old and it was perfect for us! I 10/10 recommend and we will be back!

Great location!

This place is ideally located for those who want to be near the Caddo River and the Little Missouri Falls. The hot tub was wonderful, and Marc is a good host. Be aware that this particular listing is attached to the host's home, so there may be some noise from them at times. This did not bother us, but just an FYI. The place was clean and comfy.

Pleasant and peaceful stay

We enjoyed the stay at the cabin. Hot tub was clean and kids loved it. Grounds are shaded and planted beautifully with all types of flowers. River is clean and breathtaking. No trash anywhere on property. Owners take great care of the grounds and cabins. They are kind and hospitable but leave you to have your privacy. We will definitely return!

A fun nature-filled getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was fantastic. He helped us out with a bunch of stuff. We were at the house in early April after a mild winter, and we were able--just barely--to swim in the river and see a variety of fish. I could see it being super fun to swim in the river May on, once it's warm enough to stay in for long periods of time. If you like plants, the property is really interesting too. The hillside down to the river is full of native plants (probably 100+ species; I counted more than 30 in just a short period of time). We were able to enjoy their spring blooms.

Great place , will come back again.

The host was very helpful and welcoming . He greeted us when we came in and let us know about a few places we could visit . The place was very clean with everything that we needed . The girls enjoyed the hot tub all night and we were able to grill outside and make a few bonfires. I loved that you can just walk down to the river, in better weather you can float the river or canoe on the river . Wifi is not great but it was nice to enjoy the nature. The only thing I would want is to have a washer and dryer but besides that everything was so nice and loved the views . The owners are right next door which is nice in case you need anything, which we asked to have sugar one morning and did not hesitate to give us some . Very nice place with nice owners .

Our favorite little getaway

Marc and Tracey are phenomenal hosts. We had originally scheduled our trip for the week before we went, but the weather ended up being rainy and cold. We rescheduled with the hope that we’d be able to get out on the river and kayak, but Mother Nature decided to freeze us out. Luckily, our stay was perfect enough that it made up for us not getting out on the river. My husband was able to fish from the riverside while I spent time in one of the hammocks on the property. I also spent (probably too much) time in the hot tub. While there were other guests staying on the property, we still felt secluded and had plenty of privacy. We had stayed in this particular cabin before and knew there was no tv in the bedroom, so knowing the weather would be a little chilly we brought a small tv, a dvd player, and a bag of movies. Don’t think this is a must though because there is a tv and dvd player in the living area and they have plenty of movies to choose from. It was just nice to have a lazy day in bed while the weather decided to not cooperate. 😅 We will definitely be back and hopefully very soon. Thank you both for being such great hosts as always.

NOT AN IDEAL “GETAWAY”

Misleading online; a “suite” (they call it), I found out after arriving, is attached to their main two-story residence. It was described online that the owners lived “nearby”, not connected to my rented space. I thought I was renting a separate cabin. The outside wasn’t clean when I arrived; the owners mistakenly thought my arrival date was the following day! They apologized, and I was told I could put my refrigerated items (that I had just purchased), in the refrigerator of a nearby unlocked cabin, and could use its restroom as well. After about 40 minutes waiting for them to arrive from errands that had to run, I was finally able to occupy my “suite”! During my two-week stay, I could hear loud talking on the other side of the locked door connected to the “suite”, a dog barking and a vacuum running. A couple of nights, there was loud laughing and talking around a fire pit at the cabin next to my bedroom after 10:00 p.m. The area is next to a highway with noise of cars and trucks passing in the night. Not at all peaceful and quiet as one would imagine. There was not a closet or even a hook to hang my clothes (except a few wooden pegs in my bathroom that was about to fall off the wall). However, there was a small wardrobe in the front bedroom with a short rod that fell three times when I tried to hang my clothes. I gave up. I did have a couple of guests only one night. Two of my well-behaved great-grandsons (ages 12 and 14). No partial refund was mentioned or even offered by the owners for my initial inconvenience, so I definitely will not be staying there again, nor will I recommend Caddo Crossing to anyone.
