Le Mazet de Cabrières d’Avignon – Provençal Retreat Near Gordes

Nestled in the heart of the charming Provençal village of Cabrières-d’Avignon, in the Luberon and just moments from Gordes (one of the most beautiful villages in the world), Le Mazet de Cabrières-d’Avignon/Gordes is the perfect base for exploring the treasures of Provence: Gordes, L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Roussillon, Ménerbes, Lacoste, Bonnieux, Goult, Lourmarin, and Oppède-le-Vieux.



This traditionally built stone house, carefully decorated in Provençal style, offers all the comforts you need: complete tableware and utensils, air conditioning on the ground floor and in the bedrooms, TV, high-speed fibre wifi ideal for remote work, new bedding with two double beds (160x200 and 140x200), ironing equipment, and sun loungers. The ground floor features a welcoming living/dining room with an open, fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms (one open to the landing), a shower room, and separate toilets. Dishwasher and washing machine are also available. For your comfort, the kitchen and bedroom windows are fitted with mosquito screens if needed.



Located on a quiet street in the village centre, near a private 11th/12th-century château, the house offers an intimate Provençal garden and a shaded, covered terrace beside the olive and cypress trees. Secure access is available for parking bikes or motorcycles.



The sunny region is a paradise for hiking and cycling enthusiasts, with Mediterranean landscapes, vineyards, and hilltop villages.



A municipal charging station for hybrid or electric vehicles is 400 metres from the house.
