"We had an incredible time staying here. Very close to everything you might want to do in Playa Flamingo but still tucked away in a very quiet location. It is at the top of the hill and the view is even more spectacular in person! The house is a stunning design and well stocked. We were completely comfortable throughout our stay. Lastly, I cannot say enough how amazing the property owners are. Bilitis patiently answered all my questions throughout the months leading up to our trip and arranged all of our excursions and transfers, which we were not expecting but greatly appreciated. She never steered us wrong! She, and Benjamin, the caretaker, promptly helped us several times throughout our stay (when we ran out of coffee filters, they were at the door in 10 minutes with more!). We had an amazing time because of their efforts. We will definitely be back. "

"It was a nice budget place. Beds were pretty comfortable and AC worked well. Staff was very helpful when we needed to change rooms due to loud music being played directly behind our room. Pool was clean but a little overchlorinated. Hammocks were all wet and smelly. Need to be replaced or cleaned. We would probably come again though. Being right by the ocean and in walking distance from good eats was great You can even walk to Playa Con Chal or get a quad taxi."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rip Jack inn. The front desk staff, the restaurant staff and the cleaning staff were excellent. We plan on visiting Costa Rica again and we will definitely stay at the Rip Jack!"

"Our stay was everything we dreamed of. No complaints whatsoever. Only steps to the beach through cool foliage surrounding the compound. Beautiful large pool looked after early every morning by an onsite person. Just a fantastic experience "

"Air conditioning is really good, pool is good. Food at restaurant was good as well. Older property but they do their best to keep it clean and they have 24-7 security, and you have other eating options down the street but some location are closed on Sunday. It’s a very local town."
