The hotel needs some maintenance. The room was clean and the views are very nice. With some few exceptions at the specialty restaurants, the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful.

Overall our trip was great with one very large downside: Pros: Beautiful Well maintained Great food All inclusive works at sister resorts Cons: Everything is very spread out so shuttles are used to go everywhere. You must call ahead for shuttles when leaving your room however we often had our shuttles stolen by guests that didn't call but had gotten down the stairs first. We'd be left waiting for a new shuttle despite being responsible adults that called ahead. One evening we waited 40-minutes for a shuttle to get to dinner after two shuttles were taken by Spanish speaking guests despite the shuttle arriving for our room number. This was definitely the theme of the trip. There is a huge preference by resort staff for Spanish speaking guests and you'll be passed over at the bars and restaurants for this very reason. Nothing is very walkable as the resort is built on a hillside with switchbacks and paths snaking for miles. If you are fit and enjoy hikes in the desert sun, you'll love it.
