"Beautiful modern property with minimalist decor in soft natural colors. Rooms well appointed with robes, slippers, toiletries. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and with enough variety to not eat the same thing every day. Champaign was a nice touch. Pools are awesome and the noon water aerobics was great. Sunbeds and umbrellas were plentiful. Spa was also first rate. Adult pool in the upper deck is great for a quieter time. The bars and restaurants were very good but the evening buffet was overpriced IMO. Just pay attention to their open times. There’s a sister property up the street that has an excellent Italian restaurant. Nice boutique in the lobby, too. We had a fantastic, relaxing time. Absolutely will return to a PortoBay property anywhere. Things to consider: if you use a wash cloth bring your own. There are great distances to walk on this property so it might not be for you if you have mobility issues. Also the terrain is very hilly. It’s no where near Old Town. You can take a bus or a taxi 10-15 euros each way. Walking distance to a small area of tourist shopping and dining but no major supermarket. The beach is reached via a treacherous and lengthy boardwalk and stairs. If you’re hoping to do beach bathing you’ll probably want to go to another beach."

"Wonderful view from our room. Very close to the marina and a local, stunning beach. A few swimming pools available. Great stay , breakfast and cleanliness. Staff were wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful."

"Lovely hotel! Friendly and helpful staff. We had a fantastic room - think it was a rooftop studio (?). Modern room with kitchen area (microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher). Nice balcony with table and chairs, loungers and egg chair. Clean. Small outdoor pool and sitting area. Great location…..few minutes walk to centre. Would definitely return for another stay!"

"A great all round stay. The staff are lovely and all talk English. The room was clean and the air conditioning helped it stay cool. I spent most of the time by the pool but it looks out over the beach. They have their own bit of beach where you can hire towels and beds for the day."

"We stay here every year and the service is excellent. We always go full board, as the food is excellent.. I did notice that the cleaning service is not as good as previous years, but otherwise a lovely place to stay for the family."

"After a very unsure booking process and rude interactions from office staff who seemd unprofessional. Finally after a few emails my booking was confirmed. It left me so distressed prior to my arrival. Complex is amazing. Beautiful snack bars and restaurants on site. Staff at restaurants were friendly and so helpful. Old town quite far to walk in the heat but a short uber. Pools excellent and kept very well. Pool zumba on a few times on days. Great fun. We really enjoyed our stay but would prefer if it was closer to old town. The complex itself is huge and a big walking distance. Plenty to do and a very nice place with beautiful gardens. Rooms aren't great soundproofing though so we were kept up a lot until late on each of the nights. Strangley there are no staff walking about during the night to keep noise pollution down."

"This place was great. The staff were super friendly. The Hotel was perfect location to reach everything we wanted to reach. We had a rental car which opened us to explore what the local scene had to offer. Beaches, Night markets, Supermarkets, Late night local Ice creams shops, Festivals, the lot! Underground parking was excellent at keeping the car cool. Rental towels (10 euro Cash deposit each) were very convenient as we were travelling very light. The Aqua Park was great fun. Be sure to check your child's height. 140cm + gets you full access to everything. Sub 120cm excludes some of the rollercoasters and big slides. Sub 110cm excludes a lot of the slides. Only a few Kiddy slides left to explore. A quick 5 min walk to the park. Wrist bands get you straight it. You will have to leave your stuff unattended if you plan on moving around the park as a family. Or you can rent a locker for 10euro per day. But everyone leaves their stuff on the grassed area and there seems to be a level of trust amongst everyone. We left our towels, phones and flip flops and never had anything missing."
