"The hotel was very clean and well maintained, staff were friendly and helpful. Also the room was spacious and comfortable. The downside to the hotel was the indoor pool was very small and had a cover over it so couldnt be used and the bar consisted of a couple of bottles of spirits. The breakfast was plentiful with the usual continental offerings."

"Breakfast was outstanding, plenty of fresh fruit, choice of muesli, granola etc home made, fresh rolls and even different speciality Portuguese cakes and pastries to sample each day. I didn’t try the cooked breakfast, but seemed to be very popular Lots of activities both in hotel itself and to book in the surrounding area. My only slight criticism is that the roof top pool area did not seem to have many sun beds, also the steps to get in/out of pool were unstable. All staff were helpful and friendly, and smartly dressed. Would certainly book again should we want to return to this part of Portugal"

"This is a small and basic hotel, but very well kept, clean, good service and excellent food. It is just one block away from a very beautiful and long beach. The town of Monte Gordo is 1 hour from Faro and the many attractions there."

"Lovely villa. Really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everyone, and a 3 taxi drive to the town. 5 minute walk to the beach and a lovely little local shop. The villa was clean and tidy."

"There was no toliet paper No paper towels or dish soap No garbage bags Couldnt get ac remotes to workEntire house reaks of mold including furniture We had to wash towels before we could use them because they smelt sour and were dampThe beds are like sleeping on concrete. We were all in pain every morning Location is nice and close to beach at least. Im not one for leaving bad reviews but this was not an enjoyable stay to what we wanted to be an enjoyable vacation "
