We enjoyed a week here in July 2020\. This was their first week opening post lock-down and had been slightly de-contented to meet government guidelines but it wasn't a problem - the only thing that might helped was an additional chopping board and another sharp knife. The location is very peaceful and quite which suited us perfectly but might not suit everyone. There are great walking and cycling trails starting very close to the barn and stunning views. Buxton and Bakewell are a short drive away if you want a supermarket, shopping, or a meal out. We would definitely recommend Barn End Cottage.
