"We just needed a one-night stay in Bakersfield. SureStay was convenient to where we were going in the morning. Area around it was a bit sketchy, but the parking was secure, grounds were pretty, and price was right. Room had some odd-looking (not matching) electrical plates in the bath, hair dryer not attached to the wall but rather just lying on the counter in what would be the wall attachment, and sink plumbing under counter was a curiosity, but room was clean and quiet. We had drinks in the bar, pizza in the restaurant and breakfast also in the restaurant Breakfast wasn't a buffet like most hotels. They had a menu to order one item from (eggs, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, etc.). Breakfast was included and quite good."
