On this site from 1800-1900 Shakers called this beautiful farm home. raising cattle, making wooden furniture, and preaching. This was their lake and wall to partition their land from the next farm. This is a wonderful village, vibrant with artisans during the summer where you can learn crafts, buy locally made products, and participate in events. Staff was good. Room was okay, the fan in the bathroom did not work, pretty sure the fridge didn’t work, so definitely a good 3 stars not terrible at all but not the greatest either- oh the elevators work good but man they’re terrifying at time
