They had our room code sitting on the front desk for everyone to see. Luckily Korea is usually a safe place where stuff doesn't get stolen but this is a hostel where foreigners stay so...be wary. Apparently the AC for each room is controlled by one controller so our room was freezing at 18•C all day everyday. Seriously it's like sleeping in Antarctica. Men's restroom only has one stall and one shower. The shower was old, dirty, and drained slowly so watch out for flooding. The wifi didn't reach our room so we had to go to the front area if we wanted to do anything on the internet. All in all we paid $52 a night before taxes for Friday and Saturday which was pretty pricey considering I found a business hotel down the street for $40 a night and was more spacious and you get your own restroom. I stayed at 24 guesthouse before this and it was way better. The only reason I stayed here was because my girlfriend wanted to. Don't make the same mistake as me. Find a different place. They said okay and sent me an email with self check in instructions. They said they would leave a key to my locker with my receipt on the counter, and they emailed me my room number and the keypad code for it and the front door. In the email it explicitly says "DO NOT CONFUSE THIS LOCATION WITH OUR OTHER BRANCH WHICH IS A FIVE MINUTE WALK AWAY ON THE 6th FLOOR. THIS BRANCH IS ON THE THIRD FLOOR..." There were step by step instructions for how to get to the third floor, where the lockers were, and what my room number and entry code was. I got to the address they sent by email. Everything matched the instructions, but there was nothing out for me. I figured that's not a big deal, I had my room # and code-except that the code didn't work on the room number I was sent. I spent over an hour sitting in the lobby, calling and texting them by phone, kakao, and Facebook at every number I could find. No one ever answered. Finally, stressed and frustrated, I decided it couldn't hurt to check the other branch-- the one I was clearly told NOT to go to. There was my receipt. Today, four days after my numerous messages and 12 calls, still no one has responded to any of my attempts to contact them. Check in process was smooth. I book a room for 4, but it's only me stay in that room. Super like it! The bathroom was clean. Easy to get the metro. ##### May ### 6/10 Okay #### sangyun, 한국-서울 7 Jan 2015 Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### 유흥가는 시러여. 일 목적으로 부산에 내려갔기에 잠만 자야지 했습니다. 모텔가서 자긴 돈이 아깝다고 해서 간만에 옛날생각이 나고 한국의 게스트는 어떨까 하고 궁금한 마음에 가본곳인데, 설마 빌딩안에 있을꺼라고는 생각 못했네요. 우선 숙박업으로 분류되어서 너무 유흥가쪽에 있는것이 불편했습니다. (아이들이 많더군요. 저야 신남! 어멋.) 아래층은 알수없는 태국마사지에, 언니들 앉혀서 노는 바에, 그리고 노래주점 3단콤보가 실려있는거 보면 대략 패턴이 알수있지요. (고급정보) 이런곳입니다. ㅠㅠ 게스트 하우스 자체로만 보면 나쁘진 않았습니다. 잠도 못잘꺼 같다라고 생각했는데 마치 약속이나 했듯이 모두들 취침모두로 가고 했기에 꿀잠을 잤고 이 게스트하우스의 귀염둥이인 냥이는 정말 잊을수 없네요. 보고싶게 만듭니다. 다만 샤워실이 여성 남성 하나씩만 달려있어 씻는게 릴레이라는 점. 이것만 좀 어찌하면 참 좋을 듯 싶습니다만 까칠한 저였기때문이고 다른 친구들은 별 신경 안쓰던것 같네요 이만 사담이였습니다. ##### sangyun ### 10/10 Excellent #### colin, Hong Kong 5 Jan 2015 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Good Budget Hostel The hostel was ace ! Met many nice people ! Also the staff are all very caring :) there's a Pet in the hostel its a cat ! Really organised and the staff are really helpful ##### colin ### 2/10 Terrible #### Verified traveller 20 Dec 2014 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### 해변에서 가까움 게스트하우스를 처음이용했는데 생각했던거 보다 깨끗하고 편리했어요! 사장님도 스텝분도 친절하시고, 다른 여행자들과도 정보공유하고 편하게 이야기하면서 여행의 또다른 매력을 느낄 수있었던 기회였어요! ##### Verified traveller ### 2/10 Terrible #### Verified traveller 17 Dec 2014 Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### 밤 10시 넘으면 직원이 없다는 것을 모르고 예약하셨어요? 이미 공지했는데요!!! 밤 10-11시가 지나면 직원이 없어집니다. 숙소를 찾아가니 직원이 문 잠그고 나가려다가 "아! 오셨군요. 미쳐 전화 못드렸습니다라고 하더니 약 100m 떨어진 다른 곳으로 가라고 했습니다. 이동 후에 숙소에 도착하고 샤워 후 나오니 직원이 퇴근 했습니다. 비상연락 전화 번호가 남겨져 있으나 전화 절대 안 받습니다. 다음날 아침에도 8시 15분이 지나도 직원이 안오고 전화도 안받습니다. 다음날은 2인실로 객실을 바꾸었기에 새로 키를 받아야 하기에.. 일단 업무로 나갔다가 밤 11시 15분경 돌아오니 카운터에 접수증 몇 장과 키가 3개 올려져 있었습니다. 제 이름은 없고요. 카운터에 쓰여진 비상 전화로 연락해도 결국 전화를 안받아 반대편 다른 숙소에 가보았는데 거기에도 제 이름은 없어 다시 돌아와서 비치된 책자에서 겨우 주인 전활를 찾아내었습니다. 키박스를 열고 키를 꺼내서 가도록 방을 알려 주엇습니다. 다음날 아침 퇴실하려니 신발보관락커에 둔 신발이 없어졌습니다. 아르바이트 직원은 그곳은 자신의 소관이 아니라 모른다고하고 주인은 연락이 안됩니다. 직원이 응대하는 것을 보니 전에도 그런일이 있었던듯 손님이 키를 안 잠근것 아니냐며 처음부터 뻔뻔하게 나옵니다. 할 수 없이 호스텔 슬리퍼 신고 10분 떨어진 세이브존에서 새로 운동화구입해서 돌아 왔습니다. 비수기라 그런지 숙소를 거의 방치 수준에서 관리하네요. ##### Verified traveller ### 8/10 Good #### Stephen Lee, Seoul 15 Sept 2014 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Comfortable It is located between Dongbaek and Haeundae station. 10 minutes distance from the station. A bit far.... But it is near Haeundae beach. only less than 5 minutes. That's nice. The staff were all kind and rooms are clean.
