Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. Lakeside Hotel & Spa
Highly recommend this hotel lovely friendly staff on-site car park has chargers for electric vehicle vehicles. Fantastic spa and swimming pool food was superb in the two restaurants. It’s right at the south of Lake Windermere so literally you can walk over to the ferry to do a ferry cruise to Ambleside ...

Pine Lake Resort
Great views from the lodge and clean rooms with lots of amenities. Windermere Lake was a 25 minute drive which was really convenient and Lancaster was a 15 minute drive. Although it was a short stay, we really loved our time here!
