"Property in pictures was not property rented. No dock for fishing, bathrrom was completelydifferent. Windows inside and out were disgusting. Stains on curtains and stench throughout. Called owner several times with no response. Dimitry stated, before booking in email that we could drop bags off on way to golf course, then changed. Horrible experience; . We did not stay. I requested a refund at 1030am, September 16. "

"In my opinion the advertisement for this property was misleading for example: no TV remote could not operate TV, dishwasher did not work, kitchen blinds broken, dirty toaster, upstairs bedroom carpets severely stained, living room wall severely stained, some beds had movable slats that failed to stay in position leading to a poor sleep, broken chair in the eating area, no cleaning supplies, no bath mat in the main bathroom. "The television was not loud enough. It would only go to a set level and was difficult to hear. The breakfast situation was horrible. There were no clean plates or utensils for a large number of guests. They said the were hand washing dishes and utensils. There was no water available at breakfast. The cheese pizza we had for dinner was a sloppy mess in the middle. Almost as if the le was no crust in the middle of the pie. The Riverview grill is horribly mismanaged. I would fire that manager and hire someone who knows what they are doing. Very poorly operated."

"We had a very relaxing stay. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Added touches - they provide bathrobes and left delicious chocolate treats in the fridge for us to enjoy. Which we did while sitting out on small patio outside our room overlooking the lake. Our afternoon drink on the pub patio was great - we loved listening the 90’s playlist while we supped local craft beer. Our supper in the dining room was excellent. Only complaint is that there were a Lot of Canada Geese on grassy area leading down to the small beach area. Had to be careful where you stepped!! That’s living in Canada where we have to share some outdoor space with the wildlife!"

"I was slightly disappointed with my stay here. While I did notice and understand that they are doing some renovations, I was unimpressed by the state of my room when I walked in. The room is spacious and not bad, but it was very clearly not cleaned well prior to my arrival. The inside of the fridge was gross with spills and food remnants. The floors seemed dirty and so was the bathroom. The mirror wasn't even clean and had splatter on it. There was no bar of soap or hand soap bottle which I found to be odd. The bathroom window was open when I came in and it was freezing in the room. The window also didn't have any sort of latch or lock just slide close. As a young woman staying alone I didn't feel the most secure to be honest. They also had just installed a keypad lock system which is fine, but I noticed there was no secondary latch for the inside of the room which I feel like is a safety concern as well. The girl who checked me in was friendly, but overall this was an odd experience. I never have much expectation when staying at a motel, but I feel like this lacked some very basic necessities in any sort of hospitality stay. I am not sure if there was breakfast or anything included here but I was given no information at all. I am glad that the TV was working. I would highly recommend the following things to improve customer satisfaction with their stay: -Providing hand soap and towels -Better cleanliness -Locks on windows and doors -New mattress or topper -Extra sheets"

"I enjoyed my stay at the Inn. I was there over a weekend for two days of work. The building was quiet and my room was comfortable. Some of the decor is a bit older, but it had charm, and was clean. I stayed in the main building. The restaurant staff were friendly and the food was good. The Wifi in the Inn was not the best, but only an issue because I was working on something. I would stay and the Inn again."

"I have no issue with hotel rooms with run down, tacky furniture - especially when the price is right - but there is no excuse for the room being dirty. Although the hosts were friendly, they need to change how they clean. And if they can’t get the gross dirt off the cabinets and furniture - replace it! If we weren’t just using the room to sleep, I would have left and found a way to seek my money back from Expedia. At least sheets were fresh and soft. I just didn’t enjoy the feeling that I needed to keep my shoes on when walking around the room. And I definitely did not use any of the drawers and cupboards to unpack my belongings."
