We stayed in mid-October, so most things were shutting down for the off season. That being said, if we needed anything, a call to the front desk was all that was needed. Rooms were clean and stocked with enough towels for several days. (No daily maid service). Mini fridge and microwave were clean and working. Bed was comfortable and thermostat was handy and easy to use. The indoor pool was heated and the jacuzzi was clean and relaxing. The recreation room had a pool table, ping-pong table, large screen TV and plenty of room for several families. Many of the outdoor attractions were already closed, so I can't comment on those, but they all looked to be taken care of. While the design is dated, the accommodations and staff were great! The restaurant offered a breakfast buffet and dinner buffet (on certain days) and menu ordering on the other days. Food was decent (catfish was very good) and service was friendly and personable. The nearby towns of Russell springs and Jamestown (20mins) have the basic fast-food options and Dollar Stores for supplies. The views are spectacular, and the lake is beautiful. We brought our own boat, so cannot comment on rental of any of the boats; however, the Marinas seem to have all the necessary supplies that boaters need. We will definitely be planning another trip here!
