Our houses are situated right in the heart of Bunratty Village just a short walk to the local pubs and restaurants. International call/text required 24 hrs in advance of check in, then unit # emailed. Upon arrival just hope the door is unlocked because no one is on site to assist, nor could we get an answer to text. Older units, no directions on turning on hot water tank or heat. I had no idea how close we were to the castle! It was the perfect setup for my husband and me, our daughter and her teenage daughter. We could walk around the corner for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We were right behind the castle- literally. It was a great starting point for many day trips. Unfortunately we had a glitch with our credit cards but the lady in charge of reservations was very patient and reassured us that our cottage wouldn’t be canceled while we worked it out.
