"A really good place to stay, you don’t need to go anywhere else there is plenty to do and see around there.
Very clean, good staff and don’t miss the buffet breakfast, it’s phenomenal.
All round I recommend it to everyone 👍"
" Nice hotel after we finally found it. Nice modern room with good facilities and comfortable bed. Lovely cafe attached which served a great breakfast. Short walk to a great pub and other restaurants. Would stay again. "
"This place is beautiful! A great option, I love it heading north when looking for a rest stop, as you can miss the morning rush through heatherbrae and continue your drive fresh the next day!"
"With our dog a dog friendly off-lead beach was close by so very convenient. Outdoor pool was excellent, very clean, heated nice and warm, and they provided pool towels in the room. Golf, food shopping, bottle shop, pub, all close by and walkable."

Bannisters Port Stephens
10/10 Excellent
"As soon I entered, I was happy and safe. James was very kind to me. The environment and the furnishings was relaxing and calm for me.
Room 206 was quiet, could see the water, the huge frangipani was amazing the rosellas singing and saying hello. It made me feel like I could live here."
"Location was amazing, we stayed in the tents and it was a awesome experience for me and my family. Our view from the balcony was the best view too added bonus. Staff was extremely helpful would 100% recommend this to all."
"What we love -The view and sunriseWhat we didn’t like or can be improved-- The driveway had lots of weeding and it was very hard to find the entry to driveway specifically at night. There was a very small solar light left at the entryway which was not working at nights.- The bedroom mattress was mouldy smelly.- We paid for the linen rent and we have been told on the phone that it will be all set for us. But there was just a big bag of sheets, pillowcases ect which we had to put on. Not something you want at your holidays specially when you are paying for it.- The back deck was full of leaves and droppings. We had to clean that up even on the day one to make it use.- Suggest you clean up the kids area specially the bookshelves. As most of the books and toys had small bugs and dust in them. - The dvd player and Netflix wasn’t working at all!! "
The Point 10, 5-7 Mitchell St - stunning water views
6/10 Okay
"The property itself was ok with a great view.
Has everything you need kitchen and living wise.
However fan in bedroom doesnt work and only 1 stand fan so one bedroom will cook, windows dont open to let air in as they have locks. Apparently smoke free building but people in neighboring appartment smoked which meant we had to close kitchen window and lounge doors often.
Walls, roof and floor have no sound proofing so you can lie in bed hearing the guy in next place snoring whilst upstairs talked loud with TV on full ball and someone else above seemed to be moving their furniture constantly."
Peninsula Waters, 1/2-4 Soldiers Point Road - Aircon, pool & massive outdoor area
10/10 Excellent
"Great fully furnished with special touches, like bunnings straw hats to use. Beds were comfy and main bedroom was roomy with ensuite and plenty of cupboard and drawer spaces. No ac but fans worked good. There was ac in the lounge which was funished with comfy lounges and a large dining table. Loved the ambiance outside with lighting at night. "
"Awesome place away from the busy tourist area!
Had a wonderful time with a bunch of friends. We will definitely be back again as we all loved the place!"
