We are within 5 minute walk of a local shop, 20 minutes walk of Buncrana's town st, from stunning beaches and shorefront walks. Dunree fort is 10km, Derry is 28km and 17km from Ballyllifin golf course. We spent 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed Buncrana. We drove up to Malin Head through stunning scenery and visited sites in and around Buncrana. Julie was a kind and accommodating host. The property was well appointed with comfortable beds and a full kitchen on the outskirts of Buncrana. Due to the rain, we drove into town each time we went but it’s close enough to walk in better weather. The cottage was stocked with enough coffee for our first morning (and more) but we picked up some groceries, including more Nespresso pods and breakfast foods. We ate our other meals out and greatly enjoyed the fresh and local food. We highly recommend Ubiquitous which had a lovely atmosphere and a variety of small plates along with a well-stocked bar.
