The location of Embassy Suites, within a short walk to public transportation (BART), is the main thing going for it from my point of view and the ONLY reason I choose to stay at this location.
Staff is friendly.
I appreciate the option to store my luggage after checking out at 11:00 AM.
The complimentary happy hour is a nice touch.
The complimentary breakfast is okay - only one day of the six says I stayed at the hotel was avacado toast available for breakfast - lovely option for vegetarians. The rest of the food on offer provided sustenance although it would not qualify as extraordinary.
The property itself is a bit tired and could use updating. Parking is EXPENSIVE at $34.00 without an option for short term paid or free parking for local friends who would like to come to the hotel and join me for dinner. 'Result: friends picked me up and we ate dinner elsewhere.
I stayed in room 428, which did not have a stall shower. The shower was over the tub, which never did drain after my first shower on the first day of my three day stay.
