The front desk service is abrupt and a bit rough around the edges. The rooms are just ok - kind of bare bones not decorated much. Overall the people weren't very friendly. The people running the rentals on the beach were especially rude. The town is pretty and there are some nice restaurants. Just seems like people there aren't very happy and the hotel feels a bit prison-like. We were treated very well. The villa was fabulous! The views were stunning! Every staff member went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful time. Dejon in particular went above and beyond. We had no issues at all with language, as there was always someone who was fluent in English. The weather was a little chillier than we hoped (end of May), but I still enjoyed a swim in the indoor and outdoor pool and a splash in the sea. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. We will return!
