I was not expecting much as it was a bargain basement price . Hotel is dated and looks tired .
The room was clean , bathroom spotless and the bed was really comfy .
Staff were extremely helpful .
Definitely recommend for a tight budget was perfect

This is not the hotel it used to be. Fallen off the cliff!! Poor staff, overpriced and a sad reflection on the hotel industry in Scotland.

Staff couldn't be faulted. Room clean and as described. Breakfast was great, staff at breakfast were lovely. Pool was a great extra and again the staff there were helpful and thoughtful. Location was handy for us.
Overall this is a great hotel especially for what we paid the value back is excellent.
The only aspect I didn't mark fully was amenities just as parking was tricky, don't get me wrong there are plenty of spaces its just busy.... thats not a bad thing, some parts of the car park could do with a wee resurface .

Do not stay here!! I had the worst experience of my life, I had to leave it was so bad, dirty is understated, no hot water, filthy towels, receptionist pretended his friend was the maintenance guy whilst he was wearing chef whites to go to my room to try get hot water on, felt so unsafe as they were encouraging the man to go to my room I was like absolutely not. Wouldn’t listen to a thing, turned the boiler on when I first complained still no hot water after an hour, all the receptionist did was smirk at me. The place should not be open to any kind of human even animal at that!! Stay away!!
