"The property is very pretty with a lovely view of the lake. It is well appointed with plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, and even a paddle boat. The host, Jay, was very responsive and nice! He even set up a s’mores bar for us to enjoy! We were so impressed with his care for us during our stay. We had so much fun cooking hot dogs and roasting marshmallows and chatting around the campfire. It was a really great space for our extended family to gather, relax, and have fun!"

"This house was amazing. And the location was amazing as well. For a family of 13 adults, it beat all expectations. The host was very fast in responses with any questions we had. I would recommend to everyone. On the private side, Lake Anna is warm. But it was fantastic for me, because you could jump right in and not have that cold shock!! It was not busy on the lake- we only saw a few other boats. This was the best vacation rental we have ever had!"

"We had a wonderful four-night stay! The house was incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Being right on the canal was perfect for fishing—we caught four fish in just an hour! The dock slip across the road was also very convenient, although it is a little tight and since it’s near the canal, the boats passing through can cause lots of bumps at the boat slip, so definitely have plenty of bumpers out.Overall, we had an excellent stay and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our family get together at this lake property! Below is a detailed review…Cleanliness: the house was extremely clean and you could tell it had been professionally clean very thoroughly. The property was also maintained very well, including the dock and walkway down to the waterfront. I’m extremely particular when it comes to cleanliness and this met my expectations.Communication: the host was extremely communicative throughout our entire stay! I reached out for one or two questions and had a response within 10 minutes tops! All the instructions for getting in and checking out of the house were also very clear.Location: we loved the private lake and felt like the location was wonderful on the lake! There was not a lot of boats at all, and we felt that our kids were safe tubing, kayaking, and boating Due to the minimal lake traffic. Be advised that there is not a lot of restaurant and grocery store options nearby, so plan accordingly. One night we planned to go out to dinner, but ended up changing plans due to the 25 minute drive. If you enjoy cooking in and grilling without ordering in or going out, the location will be great! We planned to have some groceries delivered via instacart which wasn’t an issue at all. House details: the bedrooms were all very spacious with ample closet space. We found the covered porch to be really enjoyable looking out at the water. The walk down to the lake on the paved path was easy, even for elderly parents."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lake house! It was beautiful inside and out, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Our family especially loved the easy lake access and had so much fun using the paddleboards and kayaks that were provided. The host was friendly and responsive, making the entire experience easy and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway at Lake Anna."

"This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The view of the lake is great and easy access to the lake. We had a great time there and really enjoyed all the space we had for our family. We spent a lot of time at the boat house, it was fun. The Host was very accommodating and responded quickly to our emails."
