We reached out to the property manager and at first they responded and asked “if we tried turning it on?” We sent pictures and videos but they never responded until the day we left, again we asked about the hot tub (it was at 6:00 in the evening when we asked) they responded at 1:22am and said they were sorry that we didn’t get to use it. The overall cleanliness was okay but definitely not the best, spider webs were everywhere and the bathroom was dirty. The cabin is directly across from a pretty busy road and it has several windows but none of them had blinds and/or curtains to close for privacy and that made us a little uncomfortable as we were there on a girls trip with 8 girls. The air conditioning downstairs was not cooling, there was a rat in the laundry area, and planks on the porch had places so rotted I almost fell through. Everything was almost perfect. It was a wonderful escape for our normal lives. The one exception was we lost power one night due to a down tree and then none of the contact numbers left worked. Luckily, one of them was the agency who used to own it and they contacted duke for us and told us about the down tree.
