You can be white water rafting in minutes! You're less than 2.5 miles from The Nantahala Outdoor Center, which offers white water rafting, kayaking and has other water activities for every skill level. Also included are several wonderful restaurants. Ten minutes down the road you’ll find some of the nations best mountain biking at Tsali recreation area. If you’re looking for a quiet, remote cabin with great vistas, this is it. The Nantahala valley is gorgeous, and it’s a short drive to Bryson City. From here, we were able to explore the stunning driving loop that includes Cades Cove, Fontana Dam, Newfound Gap and Tail of the Dragon. A few elements of the cabin need fixing/updating (gate, hot tub), but we were here for the scenery and relaxation, not luxury! ##### Veronique M. Very cozy and peaceful. Loved having the forest all around, leaving just enough of an opening for that gorgeous view of the mountains! Love being off the beaten path...no noises except nature sounds.
