Nice touches with a Christmas tree for the holidays, made it even more special for our family. Loved the gas stove, we were able to take all of our meals at the house while there for the weekend. Conveniently located to Bryson City. We loved the mud room adjacent to the laundry/billiard room. We stored bins, bags, etc. It was great to stage our trips for rafting, fishing, GSMR, elk watching, Darnell Farm’s pumpkin patch picking, corn maze, hay ride, etc. Our 4 grand children enjoyed the property as much as parents and grandparents did. I had specific needs and this house met every expectation and exceeded them. Gene and RaeLynn were great to work with. Our ages ranged from 62 yrs old down to 20 months. The fact that one must leave the main house to enter the small apartment underneath was inconvenient. Locking interior stairs would have been useful. The main objection was the neighborhood. The homes and trailers on the way to the house were trashy and actually, a bit scary. It was hard to believe that house was located that close to a very trashy area.
