The direct TV did not work the first night,but we did call for help and it was quickly resolved.Our biggest disappointment was the back porch. the hot tub had rust in it and the chemicals were not a result,unfortunately did not get to use.the back porch needs some TLC.There is mold everywhere and very little seating. the deck needs a lot of work same withe the deck down stairs also.the picnic table has seen better days and needs a good cleaning.the hot tub and back porch were one of the enticing parts of renting this house,as we were looking forward to using this space and enjoying the view from outside. however,we were unable to utilize that space at all.the view is now mostly obscured by growth of the trees and the underbrush has all but taken over the side of the house where the steps are located. the inside of the house was a 4/5, but the back decks/hot tub was a 1/5 ##### Faye L. We found trash in one of the bedrooms. We found beer cans around the jacuzzi. The grass around the fire pit and the cabin was over grown. The property needs some TLC. ##### Angie M. It was very clean and cozy. We arrived late at night and it was very cold outside so it took a long time to get the place heated up because they keep the temperature at 55 in the winter. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much . It’s close enough to town even though we were at the top of a winding road. Instructions were perfect on how to get there . ##### Deb C. It gives you a felling of a log house. The main living area was very smaller than what pics showed, but there was another living area in the basement, so we sent all the kids there to play. Lots of board games. Very close to Bryson City and Cherokee. It was well stocked but we ended up taking everything with us, so we did not use any consumables.
