Fantastic location, super close to town and GSMNP. It is on a somewhat busy road, and the traffic is just frequent enough to remind you of that, but it's not bad. Beautiful deck and view. Main level is perfect for the elderly. The driveway is tricky, steep and a bit intimidating, but I had studied Google Maps and these reviews. Beds were fine. Very well stocked. Great open space and the fireplace was a hit. Beautiful view BUT THE getting up there was a challenge. The hot tub was a bonus but probably should put up some sorta gate around the edge of the area...in the dark you could take a serious tumble down a giant hill. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wanted to like this property and it has the potential to be really nice smells musty, 3 of the doors didn't lock properly, the kitchen was not fully equipped, the railing on one section of the balcony was not secure and the driveway is VERY steep and scary to drive into and out of...I would NOT want to attempt it in any bad weather unless you had 4 wheel drive or chains. The location is really good if you want to overlook everything else. The property management company was wonderful to work with, very personable and professional. ##### Judith J. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location. Tucked away but just down the street you are in town. Felt it could have been cleaner. We arrived and started checking things out and there was a roach in the kitchen. The tub in the bathroom had mold and gunk all underneath the overflow drain, the hot tub could have been cleaner. It felt like someone had dumped sand in it and I think this is the first time I have been in a hot tub that you didn’t smell any chlorine or anything. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was once beautiful, but now is in a great need of an update, showing multiple signs of wear and tear.
