Historic house and gracious host
From start to finish either the owner or host provided a personal touch and ease to communicating. Loved the house, even the death trap stairs 😊

Lovely house, ideal location
A very good time in Bruges - the house within walking distance of the centre - we went to a very good concert at the Concertgebouw, lovely Van Eyck's - comfortable bed, easy welcoming check in. Beautiful house - it felt part of the historic city. Our only sorrow was that the friends who were due to come with us couldn't travel - Covid strikes again

Bruges Historic House
My wife my adult son and I stayed in this house for a week in April 2023. The house is in a nice part of Bruges, about a 10 minute walk from the main tourist zone. Being out of the main tourist zone it was quieter than what would be expected in the main tourist zone. The house had everything that we needed. It did not have a washer or dryer so we washed clothes at a laundry about 5 minute walk away. The house is charming and plenty big for the three of us. There is a steep staircase one has to climb to access the second floor where the bedrooms are. People who cannot climb the steep steps would have a tough time in this property. Overall we really enjoyed the place and would go there again.

Not sure about luxurious
This place was okay. But we wouldn’t stay here again. The location is good, and the outside is really beautiful. But inside… it’s a bit odd. For example, the kitchen chairs must have been reupholstered and are lumpy and not comfortable. The house is furnished with lots of giant empty cabinets. No big deal, but they are stale, so the drinking glasses that come out of the cabinet all smell stale when you put your nose in them, so you have to wash them first. Not a deal breaker, and I’ve stayed in plenty of youth hostels… but, again, compared to other pricey rentals we’ve stayed at. This place is just okay, and will do if you can’t find something better. but honestly, for this price you could get a room at a nice hotel which would be much more cozy and comfortable.

October stay
This was a very charming property that was a short walk to the main shopping and dining areas in central Brugge. We felt like we stepped back in time but still had the modern conveniences we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great old house in Bruges
This is a great little house. A fantastic piece of history. And a great location. A short walk to the market square, really to the whole town. Truly enjoyed our stay

Charming Accommodation Near the Historic Center
This home met our needs during a 4 day stay over in Brugge. The home is well-situated on a corner in a quiet street about a 10-minute walk to the center. The owner communicated with us dryly but efficiently and met us promptly as promised upon our arrival to explain the home’s features. The beds were comfortable enough and there was plenty of space for 3 of us. The kitchen was spacious but not necessarily well-suited for cooking given a small stove and sparse cookery and crockery — though this did not affect our enjoyment of the home given our preference for eating out. One downside we experienced was low water pressure that made bathing in the tub a practice in patience (the tub has a hand shower but no standing shower). Also, as mentioned in other reviews, the stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms are winding and somewhat narrow which presented a challenge for hauling luggage upstairs. Overall this home is adequate for a short stay for folks who enjoy eating out and being in a central location in Brugge.
