It's right in the centre of town, just a few minute's walk from all the main sights and museums. It has a separate ensuite bedroom and lounge/diner area, so there is plenty of room for a longer stay, and a mini-kitchen area with sink, toaster, microwave, fridge, kettle, and hotplate so you can make your own meals - although there are so many excellent restaurants close by you may not want to! Everything is sparkling clean and the bed is really comfortable. Note that these apartments are simple, so if you seek opulent luxury accommodations this is NOT the place for you. That being said, the apartment was perfectly located, quiet, well appointed with everything we needed (and we cooked many meals in the apartment) with great parking. The courtyard garden was lovely. Most importantly, Hans and his wife were not only friendly and extremely communicative, but were incredibly helpful with suggestions that made our trip memorable. We arrived by train and easily found the apartments about a 15 minute walk away. Everything about our stay there was wonderful- the staff was helpful, the apartment was clean, and it was located near everything we wanted to see and do. We stayed in one of the standard terrace apartments which had the living room, dining area, and kitchen on one floor and the bedroom and bathroom on the second floor. The steps up to the second floor were easy to navigate even with suitcases. The kitchen had everything that we needed for our stay, including dish washing soap, towels, pots and pans, dishes, glasswear, cooking utensils, silverware, stove, refrigerator, and microwave. The only things we had to purchase were what we wanted to prepare and eat. The grocery store was a 5-10 minute walk from the apartments. The bathroom was clean, modern and came with a harir dryer and a towel drying rack (great for drying clothing that we washed). The living dining area had a couch, end tables, dining table, and a large TV.
