The house was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the house had nice finishes/updates but poorly done. The electrical was clearly done by a non professional and without permits or inspections as outlets were upside down and light switches were in weird locations. There is a reason the shower does not appear in any of the booking photos! There is only a powder room. The "shower" is a shower head hanging from the ceiling of a sauna room at the back of the house. The sauna controls were corroded and didn't appear safe to use but we didn't try. There were cobwebs in the corners of the room. The shower consisted of exposed galvanized pipe that ran up the wall and across the ceiling to a shower head. The hot and cold taps were valves like you find for your outside spigot. I would not have been surprised if this had been a campground but for a home, it was disappointing. Sauna takes awhile to heat up but is understandable. FYI there is a nail head sticking out part way up the stairs that should probably be put back in place. Good food nearby.
