"We visit this area every year and have stayed in many places. Library Lodge was as quaint and comfortable as they come. Many comforts & amenities are provided for. Beautiful kitchen and living space. Comfortable beds and showers. A reminder as I missed it when booking, but there are no traditional TVs here but a modern projector that you can stream from in the living room only. Super simple to use but worth mentioning so you can prepare if needed. This is great to unplug and decompress, which we gladly took advantage of but if traveling with a group that wants entertainment I recommend packing laptops or iPads to connect to via the included WiFi. Most places in this area are "unplugged" but I favor cuddling up to a flick at night or streaming news in the morning which I was able to do with ease. This place is dog friendly, we did not have a dog with us but the place was spotless and cozy with little to no reminders that dogs may visit from time to time! The house is incredibly spacious and allowed us to spread out and enjoy the sights and sounds from various sitting areas in and out. Highly recommend! Enjoy! "

"Our family of 11 adults, one baby, and two dogs were comfortably situated with plenty of private and shared space. The home and grounds are beautiful. The kitchen was just right for preparing family meals. It was a short drive to Kingston for a day trip. Family members also golfed, mountain biked, and found walking trails off property. The location is ideal for travel from New York City. The property manager was responsive and the furnishings in the home are both comfortable and interesting. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay."

"Us: 6 men in the 60s looking for a nice home for our annual summer getaway weekend. Home (inside): Very nice! Excellent flow throughout the house. Nice size kitchen, dining area and family room. Well appointed and furnished nicely. Bedrooms: Excellent variety of bedrooms and sleeping locations. Master bedroom/bathroom is very nice and large. Stairs: Not good. Sturdy but not up-to-code and difficult for tall people. Home (outside): Needs quite a bit of weed-whacking and cleanup. Needs better outdoor furniture to accommodate 6 people. Could be absolutely gorgeous with some TLC. The grounds are actually very nice and there is a garage with deck across the street with an amazing vista view. Location: a bit removed from major locations (Kingston, New Paltz) but driving around this area is so much fun on a nice day. Overall, I would recommend this home."
