Great location. This is a dated 3 star hotel disguised as a 4 star. Rooms are spacious but basic - low quality linens, stains on the carpet, damp smells around. No air conditioning and no screens mean lots of bugs if you open your window for fresh air. Will not return.

This lodging consists of a group of hotels which are located on or slightly off the main street of Mt St Michelle. The check in process is somewhat complex with stops in two offices in separate locations, What is not disclosed in the lodging data is that there are multiple hotels, and the Expedia booking process did not allow to determine in which you are staying, This could be of particular importance for people with mobility issues. It is also disappointing because you wont likely be stating in the location published on Expedia.
The rooms are small, consistent with most boutique European hotels. The carpet appeared to be somewhat in disrepair, Overall, the lodging is serviceable but not especially comfortable. It is best suited for a short(1-2 day) stay in a fabulous location,

"The hotel's location is right in front of Le Mont Saint Michel, and you have a free bus that takes you to the castle. The hotel definitely used an interior designer's help, and it looks pretty, not like a plain hotel room. The only tip I can give is that the food during breakfast must be covered. ..."
