"This place had everything we needed, full kitchen, desk area, sleeping loft. It’s a little off the beaten path in a charming neighborhood, so remember to pick up groceries, coffee milk, etc. We loved having the private patio area, nicely landscaped with greenery. Foam bed was super comfortable. AC was powerful! The rock Beach is a 10 minute walk .. lovely, but heads up.. a bit of an uphill hike on the return. The self entrance worked fine, and we never needed to contact the host. We were visiting relatives in Smithtown and Port Jeff, and preferred the privacy and extra room vs a hotel, so ok with driving. The area is gorgeous in summer… tons of nature and places to visit. Wish we could have stayed longer!!! "

"We had a really nice stay here. The house had plenty of room, very bright and open, while still feeling cozy and relaxed. Being on the marsh provided lots birds watching for the family! The town itself is nice and quiet, which we preferred. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area! "

"Had a great time at Poppy's beach paradise for a long weekend with our twin 6-year olds and my parents. We fully enjoyed the beach was right out the door everyday and most beautiful sunsets at night. House was quirky but great for our stay and very comfortable and accommodated everything we needed. The elevator inside and stairs outside made it a little difficult to keep track of my kids, so something to consider for other families. The many decks overlooking the sound were a favorite for all of us - including many sets of binoculars available to use! Debbie the property manager was also amazing - responsive and made sure we knew all the details we needed to have a great stay. Thank you Poppy's!"
