9/10 Wonderful! (1,005 reviews)
We stayed at the Harbour Hotel for four nights and, having paid alot of money for our stay, I felt the overall value for money was disappointing.
In particular, I was surprised that we had to pay extra for parking. At this price level, I would have expected parking to be included for hotel guests.
I was also disappointed to discover that certain items ordered at breakfast attracted an additional charge. Again, considering the amount we had already paid and that breakfast was included in our rate, I would have expected a full breakfast offering to be covered without additional charges.
Overall, the stay was extremely expensive, and these extra charges left us feeling that the hotel did not offer the level of value we would expect for what we paid.

8.6/10 Excellent! (375 reviews)
This hotel wants to be more but it just isn't. The location is good if you want the nightlife of Galway. That is the one pro to this hotel.
Now to the cons. Room we were stuck in was the size of a Harry Potter Closet room. The bathroom was misery personified. Mold/mildew in the shower. No room whatsoever in the bathroom. From the toilet to the wall is a tiny little gap. I will whole heartedly admit I'm thick still doesn't change the geometry. Nonetheless; I feel ripped off. We booked and paid for two nights. Stayed one, left our keys at the reception desk at 11am the morning of the next and called for some sort of refund. They did return half of my 2nd night. Which I know they didn't have to do, but they should have done more. Don't let the pics fool you. What a shame.

"The property was clean. It was a distance away from the main town. You needed a vehicle to get into town. There was no lake view from the rooms only from the rooftop. Noise was audible from adjacent room.. at one point there was no water available to our room."
