La Salamandre

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful room in a great location, just a short walk from the city centre, restaurants, and the cathedral. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, taking the time to provide recommendations on places to visit and things to do in the area. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-presented, making for a very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation and would happily stay here again."

B&B HOTEL Beauvais

8/10 Good

"I booked through Hotels.com and was not provided with the relevant access code to retrieve my booking and gain entry to the hotel (only the Hotels.com reference, which was not the one needed for the booking). I contacted Hotels.com via the AI chat and was then given the code. This could really do with being remedied. However, the room was clean and comfortable with a lovely hot shower."

Forges Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Comfortable, clean hotel with great staff except the parking attendant who, on our arrival as I was unloading our cases from the car, told me I could not park in front of the hotel and must move it to the car park several metres away, which I intended to do once checked in (code is required fro reception top enter it). His aggressive nature was a poor welcome to the hotel but fortunately was in direct contrast to the very helpful and welcoming reception staff."

ibis Beauvais Aeroport

8/10 Good

"Stayed here for one night as we got in on a late flight. Easier than making our way into Paris after a long day. Basic room and still about 15 min away (via taxi) to train station. Overall okay, but shower and bathroom could have been cleaner as there was dirt (or what could have been mold) in the seams of the shower stall. Not impressed."

Guaranteed relaxation: swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, wooded park near Paris

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in August and to have the pool was a total blessing. We were a little co fused as the pictures shows all rooms in both properties but were told when we got there we were having the pool house as well for nothing. But the pictures for the listing included the pool house bedrooms. Anyway Darina was awesome and nothing was an issue. Lovely home with everything that we needed, thank you Darina and your lovely family xxx"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Brombos?

The best area to stay in Brombos is the town centre, particularly around the Place de la Mairie.

This area is the heart of Brombos and offers a convenient base for exploring. You'll find a selection of local shops, bakeries, and traditional French eateries along Rue Principale, which branches off from the central square. The town centre is quite compact and easily walkable.

Couples looking for a relaxed and authentic French experience will appreciate the town centre. It offers a chance to enjoy local life, from browsing the small market on a Saturday morning to enjoying a meal at a local bistro. The proximity to the historic church and the town's small museum adds to its appeal for those interested in local culture.

For those planning to explore the surrounding Hauts region by car, staying slightly outside the immediate town centre, perhaps along the D930 towards the edge of Brombos, can offer good value.

When is the best time to go to Brombos?

The best time to visit Brombos is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are smaller.

During these months, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, ideal for exploring the rolling countryside and charming villages. The natural beauty of the Hauts region is particularly striking, with lush greenery in spring and a beautiful array of colours in autumn. It's great for those who enjoy outdoor activities like gentle walks or cycling along the Brombos Canal.

For travellers who prefer warmer weather and don't mind more fellow visitors, July and August offer the highest temperatures and a lively option, with many local festivals and events taking place. While it can be busier, the extended daylight hours provide ample time to explore.
