Great proximity to all the outdoor activities in Beavers Bend State Park. Good open layout in the living areas and good wi-fi for the remote workers in our group. Plenty of space for time together or quiet time away from the extended family. Loved the firepit for s'mores. Kids really enjoyed the game room and bunk-beds. Plenty of hot water for showers at the end of an active day and big comfy beds. Appreciated quick communication with management when we had questions or wanted to extend our stay. We've come back for a second year and will surely come back for a third. Well appointed, comfortable, with a great open kitchen and living area surrounded by cozy bedrooms. Minutes away from the state park kayak/swim/hiking areas. Only a few miles off the main drag from Broken Bow - but feels worlds away in the park. Just a wonderful respite from the 1000 degree heat in Dallas. Thank you! Highly recommended. ##### Andrew S. Be aware this is actually a listing from yet another provider and not all rules list for pets/fees are attached to VRBO. WE ENJOYED THE CABIN very much. You will receive all emails and verifications from Rustic Lux Cabins Broken Bow and they keep your credit card open for additional billing should you leave the property not to their satisfaction. This is confirmed in multiple locations in the Cabin. Not like several other locations I have stayed with more a family feeling but adequate and inviting. ##### Mary H. Beautiful inside and out. ONE BIG PROBLEM. Midday on our second day of the stay, not even 24 hours of being on-site. Our daughter was cooking for granddaughters and started to smell smoke. I ran over to the kitchen and noticed the smell of an electric fire. After looking closely. I could see smoke billowing out of the electric outlet to the left of the stove. I immediately hit the trip button on the outlet to shut it off. We called the number on the reservation and spoke with Norma. She sent a maintenance guy. He turned off the breaker which discontinued the outlet from power. So needless to say my wife, my sons our daughter/son in law spent the remainder of our stay in fear hoping the property didn't catch fire at night while sleeping. We never heard another word about the problem. So disappointing. I do not recommend staying in any property that is managed by this company. ##### Joseph M. We went up for our sonā€™s wedding so several months of stress beforehand of course. I wanted to check in a couple hours early to get ready for the rehearsal dinner but that wasnā€™t possible (I was in a \*mood\* at that point and had already started a negative review in my head at that point) After the rehearsal we got to the cabin and honestly, the pictures donā€™t do it justice! It was absolutely beautiful! The furniture is solid, place was spotless and there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us! We came with our daughter and her, husband and her bonus kids who are always bored and rarely remove themselves from video games (6&7yrs old). And them my sister and her family joined us that evening for some family time (Also kids who donā€™t know life without a video game). Not a single one of those kids said they were bored or touched a video game!! They played the provided gameā€™s available, ran around outside and played with bugs, learned about different plants and tracks, went on a hike unsupervised around the property. It was like watching our own childhoods happening through their eyes. Honestly, Iā€™ve never seen them behave so well and so full of questions! We will DEFINITELY be coming back!! (Now the complaint section: maybe add 1 or 2 more garbage bags. Also, totally our fault but we didnā€™t know which thermostat was for what. We turned the rooms up trying to heat up the main cabin and nearly baked ourselves in the roomsšŸ˜‚, we figured it out by the second nightšŸ˜‚) ##### Shannan P. The cabin was straight out of a Christmas movie with an amazingly decorated Christmas tree. Everything was so thoughtful we spent the 23rd of December through the 27th and it was the perfect setting to spend a Christmas together. We were so close to the state park! This sincerely was our favorite Christmas of the past 20 years. Amazing cabin. ##### Cameron U. Second time to Broken Bow and we absolutely loved Casa Bodega. Architecture is beautiful, built up on the hill with the large windows provides great views. The game room was a big hit with the kids. Hot tub an equally big hit with the adults. Spacious kitchen provided everything we needed for our meals. We will definitely be back. Casa Bodega has no comparison! ##### Greg C.
