With an open game room, a large deck, hot tub, and fire pit, it offers plenty of entertainment and relaxation options. This pet-friendly cabin allows two small dogs with a fee and provides an enjoyable retreat for all. Eagle’s Landing is a large 5 bedroom cabin with a spot for the entire family. Sleeping up to 12people on 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 2 bunk sets, this cabin makes family reunions easy. And with that many people, random moments of fun are bound to happen, and Eagle’s Landing is ready! Start with the open game room and living room where you can enjoy a shoot around of pool while everyone watches a movie or the big game. With large groups, outdoor areas are the key – Eagle’s Landing provides a huge covered deck for everything from early morning chats to late night laughter. Just around the corner, under its own covered deck area is a huge hot tub ready for some relaxing. Off the deck is a great little fire pit where the kids – and kids at heart – can gather for ghost stories while roasting hot dogs and making s’mores. Located in the heart of Hochatown – Eagle’s Landing is just minutes from the region’s top fly fishing stream, Beaver’s Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. If you aren’t in the mood to fix dinner in the ready to cook kitchen or on the grill, then you just need to go a couple of miles to find several restaurants, many with live music. The cabin has an easy access parking area, but may not be large enough for some trailers. If you do not feel comfortable parking a trailer here, you are welcome to leave it at our office on a first come, first serve basis – space is limited. This cabin is pet friendly. Guests may have two (2) small dogs with a $20 per night non-refundable pet fee. All dogs must be kenneled if left alone in the cabin. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in/on the beds otherwise additional cleaning fees may apply. During your stay you will have access to all unlocked areas of the property. Cabinets, closets, and any outbuildings which are locked are not available for guest use. The amenities provided for each cabin are for the use of that cabin only. You will also have use of the following at each Kiamichi Cabin: \- Fire pit – firewood not provided \- Free Wi-Fi \- Grill – most properties have a charcoal grill, a few still have gas grills. \- Hot Tub \- Washer and Dryer We use express check-in and checkout. Our goal is for you to have the least amount of interaction with our staff as possible. If some issue does arise, we will work to keep interruptions to a necessary minimum. Staff and management are local to the area. Directions & access code are sent out a week prior to arrival using one of the following methods: Kiamichi Cabins Website or Agent Bookings – information will be emailed one week prior to scheduled arrival. VRBO / Expedia Family - – information will be emailed one week prior to scheduled arrival. AirBNB - – information will be sent through the AirBNB messaging app one week prior to scheduled arrival. Our office is not open after 5pm or on weekends – emails are not checked regularly during this time. Located in the heart of Kiamichi country lies the incomparable splendor of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Beaver’s Bend State Park, the Ouachita National Forest and the Kiamichi Mountains, this is the place to lose yourself in hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing. The place to find yourself while surrounded by tall pines, crisp rivers and clean mountain air. The place to make memories that you will draw on for a lifetime. The Beavers’ Bend / Hochatown area does not have public transportation. There is at this time a private ride share company that will pick up and drop off between most cabins and area attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. There is currently not any Uber or Lyft options. All cabins located in the Hochatown area are 5 to 15 minutes from most destinations around the lake and park. This of course depends on traffic. Summer and other peak holidays experience higher traffic, typically Fridays after 2pm and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm. Offpeak weekends and midweek stays should expect shorter traffic times Cabins located further north of Hochatown are an additional 15 to 30 minutes from the Hochatown area. This additional distance should not be impacted by traffic. The park and lake itself are free to enter, there is however a fee to park. During peak periods you should plan on a wait at most restaurants. This Property is dog Friendly - Please see the following for restrictions/ guidelines/ fees. \* 2 dogs maximum \* weight limit of 80 lbs for a single dog or Check in time is 4PM or later. Check out time is 11AM. Additional fee of $100 will apply to late check-outs unless otherwise approved. All cabins are Non-smoking. RVs, Campers, and Tents are not allowed to be used on cabin property, overcrowding fees will apply. ATV and similar vehicles are not allowed to be ridden on the cabin property. The use of Fireworks and/ or Guns is prohibited on cabin property. Hot tub covers are to remain in place when not in use. Do not stand, sit, dance, or otherwise use the cover for anything other than its intended purpose. Pets are welcome at Kiamichi Cabins on a Cabin by Cabin Basis with the following restrictions: Maximum of two (2) dogs. If bringing a single dog, the weight limit is 80lbs. If bringing 2 dogs, the weight limit per dog is 40lbs. No dogs are to be left unattended. All dogs must be kenneled if left at cabin. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or on the furniture. An additional fee of $20 per night will apply - regardless of how small or cute your dog is. Was pleasantly surprised by the size of the cabin, last one was very small even considering it slept 10\. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. The only issues we had was parking, only enough space for 3 vehicles, and the washing machine was horrible. Could not get it to balance properly so it sounded like was about to take flight. It makes for a leap trying to get on the porch and ultimately into the house. I can see this being very difficult for families with elderly people. And it’s definitely a safety hazard. The inside of the cabin wasn’t very clean on our arrival. Dust bunny’s everywhere. Kitchen is well stocked, but the knifes suck, so I would suggest bringing your own. Spare bathroom had mold all over it. It needs to be completely replaced. Some of the mattresses are old and sunken in-needs to be replaced. ##### Richelle G. There’s one tv in the living room and you’ve got a couch and love seat to sit on. Not sure where they expect the rest of the people to sit. All of the pool cue tips are broken, the washer is broken and bangs so loud it will wake everyone up on the spin cycle, fire pit was full, grill not cleaned from last guest, hot tub is on its last leg and really nasty. Other than that the house and deck are big. We had a group of 8 for a paddleboarding trip on Broken Bow Lake. The cabin was large enough to accomodate all of us in terms of rooms and dining table. The AC went out twice and the loveseat on the porch was broken as well. I’m not sure the owner was aware of all the issues so I’m hopeful that they will be resolved soon. Like the building very much but the location leaves something to be desired. The road in is poor and gets worse after the pavement stops. There are loose dogs running around. The listing as 14 is questionable as the upper bunks cannot be accessed safely. Both back bedrooms had sheets with hair on them and were missing smoke detectors. The cabin was not clean. The main guest room the closet was locked for the owners use so I had to hang my clothes in my family closet way Down the hall. My bed was broken they had a folding table under the mattress for the deep dip in the bed. Broken slat on the bed. Mold on the bathroom wall, handle broken off the shower. Under sink in kitchen smelled of wet sticky mold. Cracks in the back door. Just walking up to the cabin the porch had bird nests over the front door. This was just not inviting. The outside was not cleaned either. The bbq grill all rotted out. This Cabins owner needs to clean up before renting this made over mobile home made into a cabin out!! My favorite part is the kitchen being fully stocked with cooking supplies and the master bath. Other than that it was ok if you are looking for something super simple. The hot-tub smelled really bad, and there is no front yard. The parking is gravel and very slopped so it was a challenge going in and out. The firepit was nice but also very unleveled. We hanged out mostly on the porch which is wide but we wish they have some type of ventilation like a ceiling fan. Some of the wood are falling apart. The faucet on the 2nd bath is wiggling and dripping. As far as the host, they were responsive. We had a major storm during our stay and lost power. He answer the call promptly. They also let us check in early without any additional fees. Overall, it is what we expected when we booked online. Only wish is a better leveled parking.
