Online booking was difficult. So, I called which seemed the preferred method. The person was not rude but was also not professional. I’m still not sure why I was charged and then later refunded (after I asked) the pet fee. The decor everywhere except the living room was nice. However, the cabin smelled like mildew the entire stay, the window sills had dead dried bugs all over them on the inside. The couch had 2 specific spots that smelled horrible of dog pee. I couldn’t even sit on them without trying to cover them with towels. The deadbolt on the front door didn’t work except for the keypad lock (that could have been used by anyone knowing the code). The toilet seat was very nearly falling off. And even though there was a hot tub, there is zero screen or anything to provide any privacy. So, it was not used, especially since the neighbors were out at their fire pit. We enjoyed the fire pit and chairs so we could relax around a nice fire. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and equipment we needed for all meals.
