The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, washers/dryer, towels, and linens. 🔒 House Rules & Notes To help ensure a smooth stay, we kindly ask all guests to complete our rental agreement (available to review before booking) and provide a credit card for a refundable security deposit hold. These items are required to finalize your reservation — if they’re not submitted, the booking may be canceled. 🌡️ Heated Pool If you choose to add pool heating, it will apply to the entire duration of your stay and must be selected at least 24 hours prior to check-in to ensure the pool is properly heated upon arrival. While we aim to maintain water temperatures between 80–84°F, please note that deep freezes (typically December–February) can impact the pool's ability to maintain temperature. Pool heat is $75 per night and must be on for the duration of your stay. Due to the high utility cost of running the pool heater, we offer this amenity as an add-on in order to keep the cost of the accommodation lower for those who do not want it. 🧼 Pool Maintenance Our pool is professionally serviced twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. These cleanings are pre-scheduled and cannot be moved. 🌿 A Quick Note About Nature Because the home is surrounded by beautiful forest, it's normal for leaves or other natural debris to occasionally land in the pool. For your convenience, we provide a pool skimmer net for use between cleanings. This property is a vacation rental which means that it is not always occupied. For the protection of our cabin and for the safety of our guests, we have installed exterior cameras; one is above the main entrance, facing the driveway, and the second is facing the back doors cabin entrance. The 2 king suites down stairs was convenient and very spacious. Although the beds are high for my 5ft stature, they are very comfortable. We loved the rain water facets in the showers. The closets were very unorganized and not easily functional for our use. We utilized the day beds instead. The upstairs was accommodating for the young adults/teens. It was very spacious. They enjoyed the pool table and games. The closets were also filled with cabin decor and misc items. Not user friendly for bags/suit cases. The cabin stayed very cool in the summer heat. Tv’s and wifi worked great. The inside of the cabin was cleanish. If you plan on cooking bring a non stick pan. I would also suggest bring durable trashbags. The bags provided are thin and barely fit the trash can. I was most disappointed with the hottub. It smelled of mildew. The water was dirty and murky. The property manger did warn me the pollen was in bloom, however the porches need a good powerwash to clean the green mildew stained areas. ##### Shelly A. Although there were a few issues they immediately responded but couldn’t resolve some. I would still recommend this property because of its 4 king bedrooms and the bunk room in the loft. The two bedrooms downstairs had large bathrooms with shower. The pool was a great thing for the little ones. We had 7 adults and 3 children 3 - 6 years and a 10 month old baby. Loved the fire pit. Then we had to go buy a grill because the grill was unusable. We were charged for these things and was a little disappointed. For the most part the stay was a win! ##### Kim R. We had a great time with our whole family, everyone had a comfortable space to enjoy. Cooking together everyday. Literally everything. Host was amazing to work with and prompt with questions/concerns. Location was amazing. Everything worked properly and I was just wowed by everything. My family and I spent a few days here for spring break. We usually visit Hochatown a few times a year and have stayed at several different cabins. This cabin was definitely in our top five and we will be revisiting! It was so roomy and had wonderful bedding and comfortable furniture. If there was anything that could use improvement it would be the kitchen. There were very few pots and pans and it made it hard to cook for our family. We loved the stay and the process. The only thing we did not really like was the check out time.
