It was a great stay . Comfortable beds . Great location . The only thing that was annoying were the hidden costs . Deposits and fees that take away from your vacation budget

Great hotel, was better than we expected. It’s only a couple of blocks from the Manhattan cruise terminal. Less than 10 miles from LaGuardia airport but it was a $100 Uber ride.

1. There were hidden fees not discolsed until we checked in. Ended up paying $150 more than we booked it for, but it was too late to consider other options. 2. There was a mess of hair in the shower that wasn't cleaned out of the drain cover. Pretty gross.

Very pleased with our stay. The hotel is located in a great location. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Having a coffee shop in the hotel was also a plus. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful hotel.

Enjoyed the hotel overall. The decor and atmosphere were very nice. But, I would like to have a restaurant on site. There are many options for eating in the area which is nice. Had to call for towel 2 of the 4 days I stayed. Only 2 of the outlets in the room worked.

Great location for a weekend watching Broadway shows! This hotel is an easy walk from the theatres and very close to some great Hell's Kitchen restaurants. There is a subway entrance right across the street and it's a short walk to Central Park. We found the location very convenient!

The location was fantastic. Just one block from the subway station, a few minute walk to Central Park, MoMa, Times Square, theaters, so many restaurants, cafes, and shops. The hotel has warm atmosphere, tasteful decor, friendly service, and comfortable beds. The service is minimal, yet it feels upscale. The pillows were too tall for our taste, but we used cushions on the couch and it worked. We would stay there again.

Loved this hotel and the little attentions to detail. Had a suite which included a record player and an artists easel with pencils and a picture to colour in. Such a nice idea, my partner loved chilling out in the evening being creative. Staff were very helpful and we would definitely return next time we are in NYC

The overall facility and location were fantastic. My wife thought that our room AC was loud and would not cool the room as cold as she would have liked. The doormen were awesome but the front desk staff member that checked us in did not stand out as excellent. Overall we had a very nice stay and I would recommend!

The hotel itself was amazing, we would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting New York. The rooms were incredibly spacious and very well decorated. The only slight issue for us was the noise outside the property as we were in a room facing out onto the busy street. The noise of the subway was also noticeable. However, we would still thoroughly recommend.

Room near elevator very loud. One elevator out of service- took a long time going up or down...TV had a line going down the screen. A pretty decent hotel for expensive NY. $40 resort fee was steep did not use. They did let us check in early at 2:00pm, and staff were very professional and accommodating. Easy walk to our show at Broadway Theater, and I felt very safe the whole time. Parking very easy and right next store. Would recommend for convenience.

We enjoyed our stay at Romer Hell's Kitchen. The hotel itself was nice, the lobby smart and with plenty of seating and the room we had was facing away from the main road and was quiet (rooms facing 8th Avenue might get more noise). It was nicely done-out and comfortable. The bathroom was slightly on the small side but perfectly fine. It's in a great location for our needs, a short walk from various subway stations and not that far from the edge of Times Square (Wicked is a short walk away and acts as a good landmark to look out for if you get a bit lost). I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again. I've given it four rather than five stars because there's no restaurant, and the on-site cafe leaves a little to be desired. The staff aren't especially friendly, the food offer is poor and some of the drinks aren't great. I'm not sure where breakfast is meant to be (we didn't choose it as it was pricey), but if it's at the cafe I'd feel short-changed. But there are plenty of breakfast options nearby, including Starbucks a two minute walk away.

Perfect stay for our quick trip to NYC. Clean, quiet- when you enter the lobby after a long busy day you feel as though you’ve found an oasis. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. Our rooms were clean and had all we needed. Easy walk to times square, central park, Rock Center. Subway station right across the street. If you’re thinking of booking Romer but not quite sure yet, here's your sign to just do it!
