"Such an amazing place to hold our relaxing family gathering. So cute and cozy. They thought of everything. We enjoyed time together around the firepit and relived our childhood in the downstairs game room. We would definitely love to stay here again."

"The apartment is the main floor of an old home. It is located very close to downtown/historic Oakland. All the rooms are very spacious and minimalist aesthetic. It was a great base for our Garret County adventure. We were a party of 3. But a floor mattress makes it possible for a 4th. I only recommend bringing you own drinking water."

"This house and host is amazing!!! Communication was beyond what was expected, and the house was clean and comfortable! We stayed here for my son's baseball tournament and had a day off of playing. She offered ideas and even sent the link for things to do in the area. This place gets a 10 of 10 in my opinion. We definitely plan to come back with family!!!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are several things that should be improved.The biggest surprise was that the property uses well water with a very strong sulfur smell, which was not disclosed in the listing. The odor was so strong that our kids didn't want to brush their teeth or bathe. We understand well water is common, but this should be mentioned so guests know what to expect.The Wi-Fi was unreliable and kept disconnecting, making it difficult to monitor our baby's camera.The living room sofas were worn and broken, the enclosed porch was dusty, the outdoor porches were covered in cobwebs, and we found mouse droppings in the Lazy Susan cabinet.We were also not provided with linens or towels for the pullout sofa.Lastly, we didn't appreciate the hot tub being tested or the lawn being mowed during our stay. Maintenance like this should be scheduled before guests arrive or after they leave whenever possible.We hope this feedback is helpful and helps improve future guests' experiences."
