"Dinner disappointing, restaurant and bar cold in the evening. No bar staff so had to find restaurant staff for service. Don’t appreciate the automatic service charge Breakfast very good but too many dogs around the tables. Views beautiful although our small bedroom had no view. Good to have a bath as well as a shower"

"We had a wonderful stay in this property. Fantastic location right on the seafront - we had a sea view from our spacious family room. We needed to check in very late and we contacted the hotel to make sure this wasn’t a problem - the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and our late check in was not an issue. Good range of choice for breakfast - cereals, fruit, yogurt, croissants and pastries, meats and cheese plus a hot buffet. We have only given 4 stars for the property condition as the outside could do with a lick of paint. However, this is not a major issue and in no way affected our stay. We would recommend this hotel to other guests and would definitely stay again."

"Plenty of free parking spaces.. Friendly staff . We arrived too early to check in but were given directions through the wonderful grounds down to the beach and the code to the gates out. From there it's a short walk to the town shops. On check in we were able to book dinner. The menu was good and the food well cooked. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was included and was a buffet with plenty of choice, hot and well cooked. One small thing, the hotel doesn't take cash which it would have been nice to know earlier as we had already withdrawn cash for shopping and had budgeted the meal in. We will stay there again if we return to Teignmouth though."

"The staff are helpful and did give us an upgrade . But the place is in desperate need for repairs. Showers and toilets don’t work very good , you have to flush multiple times and hard to get a good temperature,grab bar missing bolt ,and the rooms look rough.Ran into other people with the same issues. And we heard that the boss is a cheap and belittling man I would not recommend this place ."
